US: Ocean City uses falcons to chases hostile seagulls away For years, seagulls had become so invasive in the seaside resort of Ocean City, New Jersey, that vacationers had resigned themselves to closely monitoring their trays of chips, to prevent a seagull from taking part of their meal. Until in August, when the city had the idea of bringing in a falconer company, East Coast Falcons, specializing in the fight against invasive birds, protecting airports, landfills or agricultural land.
