Five arrests for Cairo unrest after Morsi under fire Egypt's prosecutor general on Monday ordered the arrest of five young opposition activists on charges of inciting violence, following clashes last week in Cairo, state news agency MENA reported, sparking protests outside the prosecutor's office. Egyptian Journalists Syndicate board member Gamal Fahmi told a news conference he refused to appear before prosecutors in a separate case filed against him on charges of "insulting the president" in solidarity with the five activists.
