In Kiev, Maidan activists call for early parliamentary elections On Tuesday, Maidan activists rallied in front of the Ukrainian parliament in Kiev, demanding the parliament's dissolution and calling for early elections. They blocked the back door of the parliament building, forcing the members of parliament to go to the main entrance, along the "track of shame", a path leading to the parliament building and made out of portraits of MPs from the party once led by the ousted president Victor Yanukovych and of the Communist Party.
