French TV reality survivor show cancelled after competitor dies France's leading private television station TF1 on Saturday decided to cancel the 2013 season of TV reality show "Koh Lanta" (similar to "Survivor" in other countries) after 25-year-candidate Gérald Babin died on the first day of filming from a heart attack. The show, into its 16th season, is watched by more than 7 million spectators and places competitors in an isolated location where they are supposed to fend for themselves. The current show was being filmed on the Cambodian island of the Koh Rong. Images of the TF1 headquarters.
